T-REX member Paco Iguaz (in the photo) got one of the NIM Elsevier sponsored awards to the best presentation by young researchers in the last TIPP2014 conference celebrated in Amsterdam in 2-6 June 2014, with a presentation on the status of CAST and the preparatory work for IAXO. You can check the slides here. Paco was also presenting two posters on TREX developments in the conference. One about the advances with the CAST/IAXO Micromegas x-ray detectors and another one on the characterization of the spherical TPC.
