{"id":838,"date":"2019-06-21T16:40:38","date_gmt":"2019-06-21T14:40:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gifna.unizar.es\/trex\/?p=838"},"modified":"2019-06-21T16:40:38","modified_gmt":"2019-06-21T14:40:38","slug":"capa-a-new-research-center-at-unizar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gifna.unizar.es\/trex\/?p=838","title":{"rendered":"CAPA, a new research center at UNIZAR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unizar.es\/estructura\/centros-de-investigacion\/centro-de-astroparticulas-y-fisica-de-altas-energias-capa\">Center for Astroparticle and High Energy Physics (CAPA)<\/a> at the University of Zaragoza has been formally created few days ago by the governing council of the University.<\/p>\n<p>The CAPA community encompasses all the particle and astroparticle physics groups (both theory and experiment) at UNIZAR, in particular it includes the researchers participating in underground experiments at Canfranc or in IAXO. CAPA&#8217;s main goal is to strengthen the research in this field, by promoting synergies between groups and researchers, and in particular fostering the participation and collaboration with singular facilities in the area, like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lsc-canfranc.es\/en\/\">Laboratorio Subterr\u00e1neo de Canfranc (LSC)<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/benasque.org\/\">Centro de F\u00edsica Pedro Pascual<\/a> in Benasque or the <a href=\"https:\/\/oajweb.cefca.es\/\">Observatorio Astron\u00f3mico de Javalambre (OAJ).<\/a> &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can find here a couple of local press releases about the center (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unizar.es\/noticias\/un-paso-del-nuevo-centro-de-astroparticulas-y-fisica-de-altas-energias\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unizar.es\/actualidad\/vernoticia_ng.php?id=49040&amp;idh=9747\">here<\/a>) as well as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unizar.es\/sites\/default\/files\/archivos\/memoria_de_creacion_capa.pdf\">text of the proposal<\/a> of creation of the center (both in Spanish).&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new Center for Astroparticle and High Energy Physics (CAPA) at the University of Zaragoza has been formally created few days ago by the governing council of the University.
