Last week, from 22 to 26 June 2015, we had the pleasure to host the “11th Patras Workshop on Axions, WIMPs and WISPs” at the Paraninfo building of the University of Zaragoza.
More than 120 scientist from all over the world attended the workshop. During the five days of the workshop, the latest advances on these theories, studies on their cosmological and astrophysical impact, as well as the status of experimental efforts to search for them were reviewed. On Wednesday the workshop moved to Canfranc, we visited the Underground Laboratory and one session of the workshop was carried out there. The worshop included poster presentations, and several prizes to the best posters were awarded.
The workshop had some impact in the local media (in spanish), and as a consequence also our research activities.
